True Romance. A 1993 Film written by Quentin Tarantino that is a modern classic. No doubt. However, possibly the one thing I like more about this film than its clever word-play and gratuitous violence is Alabama Worley and her bitchin sense of style. A call girl who falls in love with a man she is paid to have sex with (Clarence, who doesn't know she's being paid until she confesses on a rooftop), Alabama's wardrobe exudes a fearless playfulness and sex appeal. A mess of animal print, miami-style brights, and platinum blonde locks, Alabama's style makes me want to say to her, "You're so cool."
